What hair product for shaggy hairstyle with fine thick hair?

Hi guys I have medium length straight shaggy hair that is fine but quite thick, I'm looking for a product not necessarily to style the hair but one that I can quickly put in to reduce the puffiness and give it some separation, I'm an outdoorsy type and my hair is constantly getting ruffled about so I'm not sure a strong hold product is the way to go, I'm thinking maybe some kind of liquid product.

what would you recommend?
