Need advice on hiding scar
I recently bought a good razor and gave myself a 5cm butch cut. Actually I did the sides at 4.5cm and the top of the sides - because it's very thin on top and doesn't look good thicker there - at 4 cm. This goes along with the stubble beard i recently grew at 2 cm. It looks great, I'm very happy with it, thanks for the info I've picked up here.
Here's my question/problem - I had an operation that left 2 scars on the back of my head about 5 years ago. With my hair this short, the scars are clearly visible. No adult has mentioned it but 2 kids have, and kids are always the most honest. Is there something like a butch cut (normally defined as about the same length all over, usually very short) where I can have the back a little longer so as to better cover these scars? Say more like 7 - 8 cm? I guess this would no longer be a butch cut! I really like the sides and top very short - any hairstyle where this is the case but the back is fuller? |
