Hi there,

I've sported a skin fade disconnected pomp for a year; time for a change!

I was wondering about how to "reset" the cut; should I tell my barber to buzz it off?

Basically, I want to go (back) to short messy hair on top, and keep a high skin fade all around, for a symetrical look.

Buzz it off, or sport a "transition" hair cut for a couple of weeks (and maybe look a bit odd)?

I've got a question, what will happen if I cut my hair short a lot. Lets say I have a 2" and I cut it to be a 1" in about a week. If I keep doing this every week will it ruin my hair or what are the changes to my hair?

ps. I use a buzz cutter to cut my hair its pretty kinky.

Looking to get a high and tight recon haircut with shaved sides and back. Anyone know of a good barber in Northern Kentucky that can do this style. Most barbers I have talked to only want to do the regular high and tight with the side and back cut short.
