How to Get Medium Length Messy Hair Style Help

Hi there,

I'm looking for some advice on how to get the following medium length messy hairstyle:





As it is my hair goes down to the bottom of my nose on the front, while it is gets shorter on the top. According to the guide, my hair is currently medium length on top and short length on the sides. My questions would be what is your opinion on this hairstyle and how would I go about getting my hair like this?
