How To Subtly Tone Down The Grey On Long Hair
Hello to all. This is my first post, and I would appreciate some help and advice please. For a 58 year old I have quite a good head of long hair - shoulder length. Unfortunately it's being let down by increasing grey hair - which is going white in some places. My hair was originally mid to dark brown.
I'm looking for recommendations to start subtly toning down they grey/whiteness. I would prefer a gradual process rather than suddenly going from grey/white to brown overnight. The sort of result I'm looking for to start with won't be so stark that conversation stops when I walk into my local pub and everyone stares. I would like the darkening to be a process that goes on for months or maybe a year - so eventually there's minimal grey. Getting back to almost my mid/darkish brown colour. I would probably go for a professional salon treatment rather than DIY - but I'm open to all suggestions. So can anyone suggest what I need to do to stop my hair making me look old before my time - turning the clock back slowly and gradually? Thanks in anticipation. |
