Hi I'm new, looking for some tips on styling my hair

Hi guys, I'm new, I came on here because I want to get it right now, with my hair!

It just varies from day to day, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't and I'd rather find a way to like it more!!!

So...my question is, sometimes, usually when I don't wash my hair or I leave it ages to naturally dry my hair brushes back really nicely and kind of waves itself into shape, it looks natural and cool, I like it (see photo attached) but if I'm in a rush, I'll try to dry it with a towel or hairdryer and I just can't get that wavey look, my hair is too straight and doesn't look as good...can anyone give me any tips on this?

Also, any hair-products which might help.

My hair is straight and I am faced with balding on the center of my head (a little, not much). Is there any tip to stop this premature baldness? Please help me.

I get a similar issue where my hair seems to look its best when I haven't washed or gotten in wet for 3 days. So I'm also looking for that product that would buffer that gap
