Advice on how to style Zayn Malik/Justin Bieber Brush Up's?

Hi,

I have been wanting biebers new hair for quite awhile and I recently came upon Zayn Maliks and I have fallen in love aswell.

I think I would look better w/ Biebers cause I have nearly the same hair color as him.

I have all the products neccasary to do either one of these styles.

Current items/products: Hairbond Hair moulder, Hair wax, Pomade, Comb/Brush, Hair straightener, curler, hair spray, and more.

Instead of listing the products and basic techniques to achieve their styles, I am asking for an actual explanination.

What I do:
1. Wash hair
2. Rub moose on the roots
3, Blow dry all of my hair straight up
4. Spread hair moulder or wax throughout my hair.
5. Style the brush up, usually straight up, sometimes straighten it to give it texture.
6. Make the top of my hair a bit messy to perform a messy brushup style like Justins.
7. Hair Spray

Questions:
1. Is this procedure good? Or should I change something?
2.When I style my brushup, I feel like my hair starts to get really thick and appears like this.

As you can see, my hair is sticking straight up, and doesn't look like Zayns or Justin. I need help on what I can do to fix this problem. Sometimes (since my hair naturally lays to my left) I comb it over to the left so it becomes more closely seperated.

3. How does Zayn Malik get these curls in the front of his hair?


His brush up is so perfect. Does he use a straightener or curler to achieve this? Or is his stylist just godly with his/her hands?

I have been rocking Zayn-esque hair for a while now, what you don't want to do is blow dry it straight up as then it just stands up on end, try uisng a curling iron or a curling brush along with a hairdryer on a high setting.

I remember reading that you need a curling iron to do this. Have you tried watching some YouTube videos?
