He seems to be maintaining and can't see any further balding on his scalp other than what's already there (which is bad enough as it is, unfortunately). Hope it doesn't continue to progress. Rafa is a nice dude and very down to earth

I saw an interview of Rafa Nadal and his hair looked kinda funny as in it was easy to see through to the scalp even though I could not see through the scalp of the reporter next to him. The lighting was low too so i knew something was off.

So here I come to check in the forum if any of you had seen Rafa Nadals hair and there is a huge thread on Rafa Nadals hair loss. So by the looks of it he has been balding for a couple of years now no? slowly but surely.

Rafa Nadal cut his hair shorter & now it is even easier to see Nadal hair loss. It is really bad & is exactly what we have been saying in this thread for months.

In the picture it is also clear that it is diffuse patterned alopecia, just like admin TheMensHairForum pointed out months ago. Nada's hair was longer some months ago so it was a bit difficult to see the hair loss, but with the right eye like admin's, he spotted the hair loss. Now with short hair, the extent of the damage can be seen by everyone now.

Bad news for his fans I guess. The picture below is only 1 day old, taken on the 3rd of October 2014.

Rafa Nadal's hair loss is getting way out of hand by now. This is a picture from today after he lost his match in Wimbledon.

You can see how the hair of Rafa Nadal looks brittle and thin. The type of hair loss of Rafa Nadal is diffuse patterned alopecia. With this typ of hair loss, Rafa Nadal is losing all his hair on the top evenly, unlike the predicted patten of the typical male pattern baldness where the hairlines recede first and move back deep to meet the vertex area of the head.

Bad news for the Spanish tennis player. This picture below really says it all. At this rate, Rafael Nadal will be bald is less than 5 years, possibly 3 years. I've seen his case too many times to know that such a severity of hair loss in young men like him takes no prisoners and leaves them bald by age 35 or younger.

I am adding below two more pictures of Rafa Nada's hair loss from the same moment that the previous picture was taken, which was on the 2nd of July 2015 after Rafael Nadal lost to Dustin Brown in the 2015 Wimbledon Championships.
