Long hairstyles for men with glasses? Expert advice and pictures

There are some really useful hairstyle guides on this forum for men with glasses, but I was wondering if someone could post relatable pictures of long mens hairstyles with glasses. I wear glasses and I'm growing my curly hair long so it would be awesome if some of the experts here could post realistic long hairstyles with glasses.

It doesn't matter if the pictures also show long straight hair, I just want to get an idea of how glasses impact the aesthetics of long hair which is one thing that has me worried. A bit silly, yes, but I'm going to be spending the next 12 months growing my hair long so I want to have all bases covered.

Eyeglasses don't tend to really disrupt how a hairstyle looks on oneself. Rather, how handsome one may be is the first and most-important factor to predict how good a hairstyle will look on oneself.

There are plenty of handsome guys rocking bad hairstyles who still look handsome; if you have a handsome face, dense thick hair (the type that makes men and women envious) and nice skin to boot, you could place the rotting carcass of an owl on top of your head and you'd still look good. Never forget this as raw as it may sound. After that, it's how well the hair is styled and, after that, is how you carry yourself. Stuff like eyeglasses won't make much of an iota of a difference, unless you wear your glasses like Steve Urkel and, still, a handsome dude would be rocking those glasses without even trying.

The above doesn't mean that there aren't some men's hairstyles that suit eyeglasses better than some other hairstyles, but, with long hair, how good your hair looks overall is what you should be paying attention to. Since you have curly hair, you should tread carefully and really stick to a good hair-grooming routine. That book (The Curly Hair Book) has it all spelled for you, so follow the advice on the book so as to ensure that you grow a good-looking mane of curls.

Thanks a lot for your help! The advice and pictures have really helped me with what I am envisioning once I grow my hair long. I actually have the same glasses as one of the guys in the pics and his hairstyle is what I'm looking for too. So I really appreciate your help as I'm tired of browsing other mens hairstyles websites that are so cookie cutter and have no substance.

Quoted for truth! I 100% agree with you and it's frustrating for us average looking guys. All I know is that people have started complimenting my hair and looks now that I've been learning how to look after my curly hair. Like random women complimenting my hair, what the hell is that all about??

Yep, I'm following the routine in the book and it hasn't taken long at all to have my hair looking now on point. Big progress compared to how my curly hair looked before following the advice on the book. I'm still reading it, more like a second read now to check I'm doing all as supposed to. I'm doing the sebum coating method and doing on and off with shampoo and conditioner. My frequency is pretty much worked out now and I'm seeing weekly progress on aesthetics and just how my curly hair behaves. I really can't wait to grow my hair longer!
