I need help with my baby hairs sticking out. They keep growing back

Thanks a lot for looking at my post.. Forgive me if this is not the right place to ask. I just joined this forum to seek advice. So i asked my barber to give me a shape up.. He said it was hard to do so because my hair are not the type, so he shaved off my forhead hair a little bit.. Now theyre growing back.. and I have kinda long hair.. about 7 inches now.. So would they look good if i do a man bun? Cuz i think my baby hair are going to stick out.. and if i shave my baby hair to do a man bun then theyre going to grow back right away.. Any suggestions?? Please help.
