RE: I love hair and I want to keep it.
Welcome!
If you are thinning at the back (the anatomical term for it is the "vertex"), then I urge you to go on minoxidil ASAP. The best brand for minoxidil is Rogaine and this product works its best on the vertex. Vertex thinning is a very typical sign of male pattern baldness (the typical male hair loss) and, at your age, it's very common for men to be deep into the male pattern baldness curse, so count yourself lucky if there's only some minor thinning at the moment! ![]() In the forum, we recommend the following vendors of Rogaine. You will want to get at least a 6 month supply, as Rogaine/minoxidil can take up to 6 months to visible show its positive effects. Both the suppliers below have some of the cheapest prices for Rogaine that you will encounter, so get ahold of their product if you want to try Rogaine as it's not easy finding reliable suppliers of cheap Rogaine. - Choose this Rogaine supplier if you're in the USA. - Choose this Rogaine supplier if you're based outside of the USA. They are a US vendor but they ship internationally and have a very cheap (and reliable) Rogaine. This supplier only sells the 4 month supply of Rogaine, so be better safe than sorry and grab yourself an 8 month supply (i.e. 2 packs each of 4 months). You can of course, check out our Hair Loss section for plenty of information on male baldness and ask any questions. Welcome again! I'm one of the admins of this forum. Any questions/issue? RE: I love hair and I want to keep it.
Hello. It's me again. I have not been here since I posted this a few years ago. I have been using rogaine for about a year. I thought it was working. But I had a few crewcuts and I wonder if it has. I can't believe the space my hair that my hair is thinning in. It's scary. Perhaps there is hope. I should give myself another years of rogaine and other products before I think about a hair transplant. Do you guys believe in hair transplants? Do they work?
TheMensHairForum thank you for the welcome. |

RE: I love hair and I want to keep it.
Please also consider that while Rogaine may not have helped to regrow more hair, it may - very likely - have helped you to not lose more hair. Rogaine is excellent for stopping or slowing the hair loss. It's also very good at regrowing some hair back but its best effects are for stopping/slowing hair loss. You can stop using the Rogaine for 6 months & see if you lose more hair. However I have a feeling Rogaine has been working on you to stop the hair loss more than regrowth since you haven't mentioned having lost more hair this is always a good thing. However if you want more regrow you may have to go with a transplant or some hair plugs.About hair transplants this is a very delicate issue. Lots of scammers around - you need a specialist who has an excellent records. A good hair transplant can be anything above 5,000 US dollars & usually a lot more depending on how much hair loss you have. You can open a new thread if you want & we can see if we can help. Themenshairforum - admin - knows more about hair transplants than me so he may help better
