How do I keep my hair weighed down?

I usually wear a beanie for about ten minutes and my hair gets weighed down and I like it when it's weighted down.

However, summer is here and my hair has been getting poofy regardless of what I do. How can I keep my hair weighed down? When I get sweaty or the weather gets humid, my hair gets all poofy.

I'm open to using products.
