iGlow Hair Gel review - Glowing styling gel
Here's the basic information about iGlow Hair Gel:
This is a one-time-use product' the .75 ounce mix will cover an average head of hair so if you have long hair or it is curly, you may need to use two containers. Any iGlow that is left over should be disposed of. Do not try to use it at a later time as it will not glow and it will have a glue-like texture. I have mid length dark hair and all of the colors looked great on it except the red and orange. Neither color showed up all that well but the others looked extremely cool. You can get about three solid hours of glow time from iGlow; they claim that it creates its own light source to keep the hair gel 'powered' but it wasn't enough to make it visible from more than a few feet away. A few minutes in a well lit area does wonders for it. iGlow Hair Gel is one of the newest fads at raves and clubs; after party promoters are selling this for as much as fifteen dollars but if you shop around you should be able to find it for less than that. I bought them cheaper from Amazon and after using it for various events, I can safely say that it works as claimed, is easy to apply and lasts a long time. Washing it out of your hair is simple; just use your regular shampoo and wash it twice to ensure that it is completely rinsed out. Do not go to sleep with this in your hair, it will get on your pillow cases and sheets and cause a huge mess. This can be a fun and inexpensive way to temporarily change your hair color and style but it isn't something that you are going to want to go into blindly. Buy a few of them to try out before your big event. The last thing you are going to want to do is have to hurry up and wash it out of your hair if you don't like the look of it. |
