How to use curling iron
When I use a curling iron, it always comes out frizzy, and instead of becoming a curl/wave, it just sticks up. I want to go for that natural pompadour type look, so I only want to use the curling iron to bend the fringe part of my hair back with a wavy look. How do I do that? My hair is more medium length and my fringe area goes down to my eyelashes.
My hair is very straight so it’s hard to push back/comb back without excessive products. It’s also very thick, but that does not help it slick back. My hairstyle is long on top & short on sides. I usually style it in a natural pompadour look, so you can imagine the difficulty in trying to do a pompadour with a natural look that constantly falls down/drops to the side without a lot of hair products.
Do I have to wait until my fringe grows longer? Are there any tips on how to use the iron to suit what I’m looking for? Thanks.
