RE: How to change direction of stubborn hair?
I have problems with my hair too. As far as i know you can't change direction of your hair, but you can try to "train" it to stay in a position you want. For example I have widow's peak and to keep my hair in place I wear a headband or a hat for a short time after shower and then I apply styling products.

Egg whites!! Nah I'm jk. Have you ever tried Surf Wax? I forget who makes it, but it's seriously stiff hold with a matte finish. I never used anything else for good hold.
