Hair loss from tying hair back?
Hi everyone,

Okay so I've been growing my hair for the last 11 months or so its got to the bottom of my neck on the sides a little longer on top. Ive been tying my hair in a small bun, which is very tight, for the last month or so. Now it appears my hair is thinner at hairline, I can see small bald patch/appearing.

Is this permanent hair loss and what should I do about it?

RE: Hair loss from tying hair back?
Hi there,

This is possibly hair loss however as you still seem to have a lot of hair so it's hard to say for certain.

From the pictures, it looks like you have a ponybun. I'd recommend tying your bun slightly looser or changing to a man bun which sits on your crown.

I hope this helps.
