Fab Morvan kinky curly hair in natural Afro hairstyle
Fab Morvan was part of Milli Vanilli, a controversial music group from the 1990s. Fab Morvan has naturally curly kinky hair and has sported his curls in an Afro hairstyle a couple of years ago.

During his career as part of the group Milli Vanilli, Morvan had long hair sported in a braids hairstyle. His hair was so long that it would reach beyond chest level, which, for a male, is quite the journey. After Milli Vanilli disappeared as a music group, Fab Morvan got a haircut and buzzed his long hair to a very short length, he then proceeded to grow his hair again but this time in an epic natural Afro hairstyle that looked pretty good until he got tired of it and cut it again LOL

Some hair inspiration for those dudes with curly hair and afro textured hair. A well looked after mane of curls can certainly pretty good, it's just how you take care of it that matters.

For what is worth, this is how his long braids used to look back during the Milli Vanilli era (he's the one on the right Big Grin ):

How to grow an Afro

It's actually relatively easy. Start from an even length (say, one inch all around your head) and aim for a length of 6 to 8 inches of hair. The time frame for the growth of your Afro will depend on factors such as your curl type and your nutrition/diet and you can find tables in The Curly Hair Book to calculate how long your hair will take to grow according to your hair profile (if you want to read more about The Curly Hair Book, then CLICK HERE).

Hair products for an Afro

The most important part of growing an Afro is how you look after it, and this is where the right hair products are indispensable for growing an epic 'fro. For knowing all the details and valuable information, I recommend you to simply buy The Curly Hair Book as that book is like the bible for men with curly hair and it's details everything about curly hair for men.

Other than The Curly Hair Book, to grow your Afro you will need a good shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner and moisturizing product (to seal moisture and protect your hair as it grows into the final length of the Afro). Get the following hair products:
  • This moisturizing shampoo: to clean your hair, use this shampoo one to twice per week. Adjust your use of shampoo as per the blueprint found in The Curly Hair Book.
  • This rinse-out hair conditioner: apply the conditioner to your wet hair in the shower after the shampoo and leave it on without washing off for 2 minutes. Then wash it off. Simply continue cleaning your body to make sue of the 2 minutes. Try to use this shampoo daily or at least 5 times per week.
  • This leave-in conditioner: After leaving the shower and drying your hair, use this leave-in conditioner to coat your curls with. Use as much as you like but start first with 3 fingertip amounts and work your way up gradually.
  • This raw 100% organic coconut butter: after coating your hair with the leave-in conditioner, melt a fingertip amount of the raw organic coconut butter in the link by rubbing it between your palms and then coat the tips of your curls with the melted coconut butter.
  • The Curly Hair Book: this book is essential for curly haired men. The Curly Hair Book is written by hair expert Rogelio, the author of Manly Curls and The Men's Hair Book. If there is one guy who knows curly hair, that's Rogelio. Get his book as you'll learn and pick up lots of advice and tips for your curls fast.
