Does such a hairstyle exist? Messy hair with metro mullet
As I'm growing out my hair I have to keep on changing my hairstyle so it suits my hair length, and that got me thinking about a new hairstyle. It's something like a casual slick back, similar to what David Beckham had but without the undercut, and a bit messier. The hair would be about 4-5+ inches and the finish would be matte, but still a slight shine to show off the hair's natural shine. The sides would be about 2-3 inches, and either left messy or also pushed back. The hair on the back of the head would be kind of like a metro mullet, but not styled so that it's sticking out, it would be a more "natural" finish. What do you guys think?

RE: Does such a hairstyle exist?
You can get as creative as you want with your hair and if it's straight then even better. I know what you mean with the metro mullet of David Beckham. I think that was back in 2001 when he had it. He went back and forth with his hairstyles during his time at Man United.

Is this what you're talking about? because if it is then that's a very easy hairstyle. Just get the length, have a low shine styling wax or even a matte wax (se the Tigi wax) and you're all set. Just make sure you're keeping the hair on the back long-ish as barbers will usually taper that part which makes the mullet. Tell them you're wanting to grow the back to flare out a mullet so they won't trim excessively the hair there.
