Cool faux hawk hairstyle by Derek Hough

Now this is a cool faux hawk hairstyle from Derek Hough. He hasn't got a special haircut for the faux hawk instead he swept all the hair up for the mohawk crest and back to remove volume from the hairstyle so the faux hawk looks neater overall.
Derek Hough styled his hair in a faux hawk to go dressed as a punk to a Halloween party, isn't Halloween supposed to be for dressing up in horror style customes, or did Derek Hough just want to show of his hair with the faux hawk? me thinks it's the latter. Pictures:

This sort of hairstyle is the one the lads were talking about in another thread of hair products for Halloween where you usually require a lot of hair spray.
This particular faux hawk from Derek Hough requires a good hair spray because the length of the hair is too long to keep the mohawk crest upright.
The crest and rest of the hairstyle looks sleek too so he must have used hair wax to get the initial shaping of the faux hawk hairstyle, then sprayed the crest untils the cows came home.

Hair spray (to keep the mohawk crest upright, this hair spray helps with sleek too)
